I am a Clinical Herbalist who provides herbal consultations and personalized herbal support based on my clients' goals and health concerns. Research and experience show that herbal support can often address the root causes of illness and guide the body back to health. I have been interested in the healing power of herbs for decades, but in the past 4 years I have immersed myself in intense herbal education. I have completed a formal 2-year course taught by Aviva Romm, MD, CNM, RH, attended conferences, poured through books and research articles, and taken advanced training classes.

In addition to working one-on-one with clients, I offer popular foraging and herbal medicine-making workshops as well as classes about the science, history and practical application of herbal medicine. I am working to rekindle interest in the edible and medicinal plants that grow around us and to empower people to rediscover our original medicines - the plants.

Another one of my passions is yoga. I teach yoga privately at my home studio. True health comes from a combination of healthy eating, exercise, daily movement and mindfulness. In additional to herbs, my recommendations for healing include exercise, stress-reduction techniques and mindfulness practices.

My office, apothecary, and herb garden are located in Frederick County, Virginia, where I live with my family.
